The company was using high-speed steel blades in their rubber sheet cutting machines, but due to the lack of durability of the blades, they spent a lot of time on blade replacements and were exploring ways to extend the lifespan of the blades. We would like to introduce four examples of blade re-sharpening and manufacturing carried out by Ohbu Seiko Co., Ltd. 【Summary of Introduced Cases】 In the case of "Re-sharpening of Specially Shaped Blades," we improved re-sharpening quality through outer diameter precision and grinding wheel selection. We restored performance to like-new condition and achieved cost reduction. In the case of "Re-sharpening of Blades for Brush Processing," we performed re-sharpening of rotary blades. The edge precision and finishing condition of the rotary blades improved dramatically. In the case of "Custom-Made," we manufactured blades for producing rasps.
